Alex's Library

As part of our mission to support pediatric brain injury patients and their families, The Baby Alex Foundation has launched a new initiative called Alex's Library. Our goal is to slowly build an Alex's Library in hospitals around the country. If you are interested in bringing an Alex's Library to your NICU, please contact Nicky at

The first Alex's Library opened at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center Farmington NICU on February 16, 2016. The Library serves as a quiet location where patients' families may find solace and support. With over three dozen books that cover topics such as brain injuries, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, inspiration, overcoming great obstacles, and living a thriving life despite physical and cognitive setbacks, the Library is designed to provide information and inspiration to help patients and families affected by brain injury to heal and move forward in a positive direction.
